Give a Gift That Lasts Forever
On July 8, 2015 the Outdoor Heritage Act was signed into law, which created an Outdoor Heritage Advisory Council and establishes a trust fund. The North Carolina Outdoor Heritage Trust Fund will provide for the expansion of opportunities for youth, ages 16 and younger, of outdoor recreational activities, including but not limited to fishing, horseback riding, camping, hiking and bird watching in order to preserve North Carolina’s outdoor heritage for future generations.
You may make a tax deductible contribution directly to the NC Outdoor Heritage Trust Fund or designate the Fund as a beneficiary of a bequest through your will or living trust. When making a memorial contribution, include the name and address of the person(s) making the donation as well as the name of the person(s) for whom the donation is being made. A card will be sent to the donor of the contribution.
